Follow the instructions below to keep your jewellery looking beautiful.
Every piece of Dea Jewellery is designed in London and brought to life in Jaipur, India from Sterling silver into gold and rose gold vermeil jewellery.
Vermeil jewellery will naturally tarnish over time. We recommend removing jewellery when you shower or bathe and particularly when on the beach, in the sea and in chlorinated water. Avoid spraying perfume or applying creams directly on your jewellery. Keep away from extreme temperatures and sunlight, and avoid wearing your jewellery when using bleach. The pieces are very malleable so take care when putting the pieces on and off or adjusting sizes to fit you. When handling the jewellery do so softly and slowly to ensure the pieces do not snap or break.
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to keep your vermeil jewellery looking shiny. A silver cleaner can also be used to clean Sterling silver pieces. Ideally, silver pieces should be stored in an airtight bag or box to help reduce tarnishing. We recommend keeping the Dea Jewellery box as storage for your jewellery. Do not use tissue paper or paper towels to clean metal as they can cause scratching.
To protect your jewellery, pieces should be individually placed in a pouch or soft lined box to keep them from being scratched or tangled. Your jewellery should be stored in a dark, cool and dry place.
